Academic Performance

Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy (MVPA) stands among the highest-performing schools nationally. Regularly placed within the top 1% of schools for student progress, MVPA proudly builds on Mossbourne’s legacy of transforming education in Hackney and far beyond.

Recognised for our unwavering dedication to delivering a world-class education to every child, we frequently welcome educational leaders from across the UK and internationally who come to see firsthand the exceptional accomplishments of our school community.

Ofsted

Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy was last inspected on 24th January 2023 and rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. In its report, Ofsted noted that at MVPA, “The guiding principles of courtesy, integrity, resilience, hard work and excellence are central to the culture of the school.”

These values underpin everything we do. Day in, day out, we remain steadfast in our commitment to creating the very best conditions for our students to flourish. We nurture young people who are intellectually inquisitive, ambitious and compassionate, equipping them to accomplish remarkable things beyond our gates.

While we are proud that this has been formally recognised, an ‘Outstanding’ judgement is not a destination. We remain relentless in our pursuit of further excellence and look forward to welcoming Ofsted again in the future to showcase our continued drive to be among the very best schools in the country.

Since celebrating our first examination results in 2020, we have consistently raised the standard for achievement and excellence, showing that every child—irrespective of background—can excel when provided with the right opportunities and support. Our students and staff rise to the ambitious expectations set before them, united in the belief that every young person can, and will, realise their full potential.
