Here at Mossbourne Sixth Form Thurrock, we are committed to achieving excellent academic and personal outcomes for every student by placing learning, challenge and care at the heart of all we do.
We offer a broad and carefully refined range of A Level courses, ensuring students are well prepared to thrive within a Sixth Form environment and progress confidently into higher education, training or employment.
Formerly the Stanford and Corringham Sixth Form Centre, Mossbourne Sixth Form Thurrock was originally established in 2009 as a partnership between local schools to serve young people in the surrounding area. Through this collaboration, students benefited from a wide choice of subjects, strong independent study opportunities, effective post-18 guidance and a thriving enrichment programme. Now a proud member of the Mossbourne Federation, MST continues to raise standards and develop a culture where students feel supported, valued, and challenged to exceed their potential.
Mossbourne Sixth Form Thurrock strives to take a personalised approach to education, and although the key priority is to achieve excellent academic results, we also want to provide an environment which provides for the 'whole' student – developing their character by enabling social, emotional and moral growth.
By supporting students’ social, emotional and moral development, we ensure they leave MST as confident, caring and capable young people, ready to contribute positively to the world around them.
