On behalf of our students, staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you to Mossbourne Port Side Academy.
As a smaller school, we place great value on every individual. Our staff know our students exceptionally well and work tirelessly to meet their needs, ensuring that each young person’s personality, talents and interests are recognised, nurtured and developed to their full potential. A rich and varied programme of clubs, trips and enrichment activities, including sport, drama, art, music and science.
A comprehensive induction programme at each key stage, featuring a Year 7 buddy system and a robust coaching and mentoring offer for students, families, the wider community and professional partners.
An integrated student experience that develops cultural capital and prepares students to be educated citizens of the future. This includes local, regional and international trips, a Year 7 Passport to Adventure, the Duke of Edinburgh Award from Year 9, and a full Combined Cadet Force programme.
A strong focus on developing essential life skills, including leadership, teamwork, communication, problem solving, resilience, adaptability and interpersonal skills.
