Academic Performance

Our incredible Year 13 students have once again demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in this year’s A Level examinations. Their hard work, resilience, and ambition have paved the way for their exciting futures, and we are confident they will go on to make a lasting impact in their chosen fields.

These results are a testament to the Mossbournian values of excellence, unity, and no excuses. We celebrate their achievements, the dedication of our teachers, and the support of families who have worked alongside us every step of the way.

Student Highlights

Special congratulations go to six of our students who reached the pinnacle of academic success by achieving the highest possible grades in each of their subjects:

  • Emma P, Nia-May T and Alfie S all celebrate four A*s

  • Louis R secured three A*s

  • Aishat A and one other student achieved triple Distinction*

Further congratulations go to Emma P who will go on to a place at Oxford University following her outstanding results. Emma is our first successful Oxbridge applicant in more than a decade. This is a wonderful achievement in its own right, but even more impressive considering how few students from Thurrock have reached Oxbridge in recent years.

We are equally proud of our 12 students going on to one of the prestigious Russell Group Universities, as well as all those who have secured their places at other universities and a range of exciting apprenticeships in fashion, aerospace and leading companies such as AON and AGEAS.

We have been honoured to be part of this cohort’s academic journey and look forward to celebrating their future successes.

Sam Cooper, Principal, said: “These results are a fantastic, fully-deserved achievement for students that reflects the tremendous hard work and dedication that both they and their teachers have demonstrated throughout this year. They have shown what is possible when you truly commit to excellence and, with no excuses, demand the very best of yourself. We are incredibly proud of them all.”

We have been honoured to be part of this cohort’s academic journey and look forward to celebrating their future successes.
