Enrichment
Broadening your experience
Developing skills for life
At Mossbourne Sixth Form, we offer a rich and varied enrichment programme that is personalised and responsive to the needs and interests of our students.
This programme provides opportunities to gain additional qualifications and develop valuable new skills, ensuring your experience extends well beyond the classroom. Students can take part in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Cadets, First Aid training, TEFL, Sign Language and public speaking, alongside creative pursuits including art therapy, crochet and knitting, and chess.
Sport and the arts play a central role in Sixth Form life. Students have the opportunity to represent the Sixth Form football team, as well as make full use of our Fitness Suite and wider sporting facilities. For those with an interest in the performing arts, there are opportunities to take music lessons, join the choir and audition for school plays and musical theatre productions.
Guest speakers and representatives from a range of local employers and industry sectors are also routinely invited to deliver talks as part of our enrichment programme. These sessions provide valuable insight into different career pathways, including employment and apprenticeship opportunities, helping students to make informed decisions about their futures.
Through this diverse enrichment offer, students are encouraged to discover new passions, build confidence and develop the wider skills needed to thrive in university, employment and beyond.
