Academic Performance
At Mossbourne Port Side Academy (MPSA), we are unapologetic about having high standards and high expectations for every pupil.
We believe that every student can achieve their potential by embracing challenge, working hard and never making excuses.
This is at the heart of who we are and how we work together to transform lives through exceptional education.
Ofsted
As a new school, Mossbourne Port Side Academy has not yet had an Ofsted inspection.

Latest Results
Within a year of joining the Mossbourne Federation, MPSA increased the percentage of students who gained a Grade 4 or above in English and Maths by 16%, placing the school significantly above both local and national averages.
The 2025 results were even more eye-catching when student starting points were taken into account. These have historically been below average for the local area, so students are making significant progress from Key Stage 2. Were Progress 8 to have been calculated for 2025, we are confident it would have been above the national average at MPSA.
Particularly impressive is that while many local schools have experienced declining outcomes, MPSA’s results have risen sharply from 2024 to 2025, decisively bucking the downward trend. This is down to the immense hard work of our staff and students, and the belief that our students can, and will, realise their true potential.
Once again, congratulations to our students and staff for this outstanding achievement.
