Academic Performance

At Mossbourne Parkside, we are proud of our pupils and the progress they make during their time with us. Our aim is for every child to enjoy learning, feel confident in school and achieve well across the curriculum, supported by caring staff and strong partnerships with families.

At Mossbourne Parkside, Key Stage 2 outcomes are a testament to how well our pupils are prepared for the next stage of their education. Our focus is on ensuring every child leaves with secure, embedded knowledge in reading, writing and mathematics, alongside the confidence and resilience to thrive at secondary school.

This is evidenced in outcomes that are significantly above national benchmarks. In 2025, 86% of pupils achieved the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics combined, compared to 62% nationally. Outcomes in KS1 phonics and individual subjects are equally strong, with consistently high attainment in reading, writing and mathematics.

These outcomes reflect a curriculum that is both ambitious and carefully sequenced, securing excellence in the core subjects while maintaining a strong commitment to the Arts and Sports. As a result, pupils leave Mossbourne Parkside not only with outstanding results, but with the depth of understanding and readiness required for sustained success.
