Extended Hours
At Mossbourne, we understand that families may need flexible childcare arrangements beyond the school day. Our extended hours provision is designed to support working parents and carers while providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children before and after school.
Extended hours offer children the opportunity to socialise, relax and take part in enjoyable activities in a familiar setting, supported by staff who know them well.
We currently offer the following extended hours provision:
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am and closes at 8:15am.
Children enjoy a healthy breakfast, followed by drawing, board games and outdoor play.
Breakfast Club places are allocated each term.
Morning Enrichment Clubs
These take place each morning from 8.00 – 8.40am.
Example clubs include cheerleading, running and archery.
Enrichment Clubs
Enrichment Clubs run from 3.30pm and close at 4.50pm daily.
The activities are designed to enrich our children’s breadth of experience and ensure that learning is challenging, exciting and fun. The activities support children by helping them to increase their self-esteem and self-confidence. Additionally, they develop personal qualities, such as respect, independence and the ability to work as a team player.
Enrichment Club places are reallocated every term. Example clubs on offer:
Boys and girls football teams, Street Dance, Art, Tennis, Coding, Chess, Dodgeball, Basketball, Arabic, Turkish, Life Skills, Homework, Phonics, TTRS, Book Club, Lego and architecture, Board Games and Choir.
In addition, we have the following selected sports teams:
Boys Football, Girls Football, Basketball and Cricket
All pupil premium children are entitled to at least one free club a term, or more if they are selected for invite only clubs like football team. Please speak to the office for more information.
Costs for Breakfast and Afterschool Club
Breakfast Club Costs:
£2.50 per child, per day
£0.50 per pupil premium child, per day
£2.00 per sibling, per day
Enrichment Club Costs:
£50 per child, per club for the term
£35 per pupil premium child, per club for the term
