Latest Results

Within a year of joining the Mossbourne Federation, MFA achieved the highest GCSE outcomes in Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham.

Across the three schools in our local area, MFA now achieves:

Highlights:

  • The highest percentage of students achieving Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths.

  • The highest percentage of students achieving Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths.

  • The highest average grade across students’ best eight subjects (Attainment 8).

Highlights:

The significant increase in the proportion of students securing at least a Grade 4 in English and Maths — now 73% — places us as the third highest performing mixed comprehensive school in Thurrock on this measure.

Even more impressively, while many local schools have experienced declining outcomes, MFA’s results have risen sharply from 2024 to 2025, decisively bucking the downward trend. This is down to the immense hard work of our staff and students, and the belief that our students can, and will, realise their true potential.

Once again, congratulations to our students and staff for this outstanding achievement.
