Our four academies in the Mossbourne Federation have been changing lives for 15 years. Our Mossbourne Community Academy is a state school in the top 1% of all schools in the country. We are now developing exciting plans in rowing, arts, medicine and the built environment to ensure that an excellent education and life-changing opportunities are available to everyone in our Hackney schools, regardless of their background.

Like all schools in England, Mossbourne has needed to be creative, flexible and caring towards pupils, parents and staff during the coronavirus crisis. We want to create a valued and sustainable role for fundraising and development inside Mossbourne. To support and guide the new postholder, we have invested in the advice of an experienced Development Consultant, who will chair the Interview Panel. He will support the successful candidate during the first three years, acting in close liaison with the CEO of the Mossbourne Federation, Peter Hughes. As this new role is pivotal to the successful growth of our programmes, the Development Consultant will work with the successful candidate to ensure that optimal conditions for effective fundraising are created as speedily, creatively and safely as possible, and to the highest levels of professional integrity.
