About You

This is a Class Teacher role, with additional subject responsibility within English. The successful applicant will work closely with the English subject leader, developing and ensuring high standards within the subject. This responsibility may be allocated within Reading, Writing, Phonics or a combination of these elements of English, and will be informed by the needs of the academy and the strengths of the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be passionate about education. They will be well organised and highly motivated, and will be focussed on the attainment and progress of all pupils. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a proven track record of successful teaching in either Key Stage 1 or 2. They will be committed to moving the Academy forward, in both a teaching and leadership role; previous experience of subject leadership is not essential but will prove beneficial. More important is a demonstrable commitment to implementing the best possible quality education for all pupils.
